Profile of Company DOS Broadcast & Appraisal Service is a division of GSG International, Inc. and provides a variety of services in the area of business consulting. In 1994, GSG established DOSBAS as a separate division after receiving numerous requests for appraisals related to the motion picture industry.
DOS Broadcast & Appraisal Services was contracted in June of 1995, to determine the value of a library of twenty-four film. These twenty-four films were to be marketed in the US and Canada only and only certain rights were transmitted along with them. Since then the same client has secured three additional appraisals on other film libraries.
During 1995, DOS Broadcast & Appraisal Service has prepared opinion letters or appraisals on a total of 250 feature films from four libraries. Our work in the appraisal industry continued in 1996 and 1997 with 5 additional film appraisals, over 500 titles, and several consulting jobs within the entertainment industry.
In 1998 an appraisal was performed on a library of 1,900 films and television series programs for the purpose of a public offering.
Recently, a valuations was completed on a Television Studio, and Satellite up-link facility for a large public company.
